### How quickly can we get started?

For 3Bird People, first developers can be onboarding within 3-5 business days after intake and profile matching. For AI Lab, the first sprint can begin within 1-2 business days of the scope workshop. Hybrid engagements follow the AI Lab timeline for the first phase.

### Is there a minimum engagement period?

No rigid minimum. For 3Bird People, we recommend at least a 2-week trial sprint to validate the fit. For AI Lab, most engagements are project-based (10 days minimum to ensure quality). Ongoing retainers are available for both propositions with monthly cancellation.

### Who owns the code and IP?

You do, 100%. All intellectual property created during your engagement is assigned to you upon delivery. We sign NDAs before any project discussion, and our contracts make IP ownership clear and unambiguous, including for AI-generated code.

### What happens if a developer is not the right fit?

We replace them within 1-2 business days at no extra cost. Our 2-week trial period is designed to catch fit issues early.

### Do you communicate in our local language?

Yes. Your European project manager and fractional CTO speak Dutch and English. The development team works in English.
